ბელიზში IBC-ების უმეტესობა ალბათ არალეგალურია ამის გამო:

§73.(4) A company incorporated under this Act shall have a common seal and an imprint thereof shall be kept at the registered office of the company.

The United Kingdom abolished the practice of mandatory use of company common seals since 1985…

Strangely enough, in their LLC Act, Belize does not require to have such company seal:

9. (1) A limited liability company shall keep at the office of its Registered Agent the following: 
(ა) a current list of the full name and last known business, residence or mailing address of each member and manager;
(ბ) a copy of the initial articles of organisation and all amendments thereto;
(გ) copies of all operating agreements (თუ რომელიმე) and all amendments thereto, including any prior operating agreements no longer in effect;
(დ) copies of any agreements relating to capital contributions as described in writing in section 41;
(e) copies of all membership certificates issued, თუ რომელიმე (but membership certificates shall not be required);
(f) an impression of the limited liability company seal, თუ რომელიმე (but a limited liability company shall not be required to obtain a seal); და
(g) such other documents required by any law in Belize to be kept by the registered agent.
