Nie je veľmi prekvapujúce, že Belize si naďalej strieľa do vlastných nôh. Pravdepodobne to ukazuje, že táto jurisdikcia je len po vašich peniazoch (a nestarajú sa o to, aby vám slúžili). V dvoch nariadeniach (datované 2018 a 2019), vláda zakázala:

• všetky IBC z držby duševného vlastníctva (!)
• all IBCs from being holding companies (holding shares of other companies).

Penalty is: US$25,000 for the first offence, and US$100,000 for any subsequent one.
