Det är inte särskilt förvånande att Belize fortsätter att skjuta sig själv i foten. Det visar förmodligen att denna jurisdiktion är precis efter dina pengar (och de bryr sig inte om att tjäna dig). I två förordningar (daterad 2018 och 2019), regeringen har förbjudit:

• alla IBC från innehav av immateriella rättigheter (!)
• all IBCs from being holding companies (holding shares of other companies).

Penalty is: US$25,000 for the first offence, and US$100,000 for any subsequent one.
